When you think of a collage, you probably think of something choppy or a bunch of things put together to make something else. But for my collage I wanted to do something different, I wanted to make something that looked like it was supposed to be that way, something that looked natural. So for my piece I took a couple of my own pictures and pieced them together in a way that I thought they looked like they were one picture all along. From there, I added a filler to layer to gray-scale the image. And finally I added a quote that I thought fit with the piece.
After the critique, I messed around with the color of the font because the main issue people had with the piece was that the font was hard to read. So after messing around with the colors, I went with a red. Although I still like the gold with the black and white, I think the red also works with the piece
